Podcasting as a Career
First Benjamin Grundy did it. Now Cliff Ravenscraft does it too. Both podcasts took the huge leap of quitting their day jobs ot concentrate on podcasting full time. Congrats, best wishes, and generous prayers to both of them!
Relatedly, Lars Brownsworth, of the crazy-informative 12 Byzantine Rulers, left his teaching position at Stonybrook to both podcast and write.
Congrats!

Send Podcasts!
I've now finished all back-episodes of both 12 Byzantine Rules and Rock Solid.
This, combined with the lull of LOST podcasting, means I don't have much to listen to on morning walks.
What podcasts do you recommend?

Congratulations to the Generally Speaking Lost Podcast Network!
As far as I know, gspn.tv is the first LOST podcast firewalled by the People's Republic of China!
Congrats Cliff and Stephanie!

Currently Listening
I've been traveling back and forth between Nebraska and South Dakota, for obvious reasons. During the four hour drive I've been keeping sane by listening to some of the free, high quality podcasts that are available on the net. I am currently subscribed to the following gratis shows:
- Catholic Exchange's Rock Solid
- GSPN -- Weekly Lost Podcast
- LOSTCasts
- Mysterious Universe
- The Lost Podcast with Jay and Jack
- The Official Lost Podcast
Myserious Universe has replaced Coast to Coast AM for me, as MU is free and it's standards-compliant RSS feed is fully comptaible with iTunes (unlike C2C, which requires it's own program to automatically download episodes).
