Go Bo

Watched Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini do some pro bono work for Lousiani State, helping them win a game against Ohio State. (As if any real team needed help defeating a school from the Big 10).

It's become downright humiliating. After two consecutive yrs of SEC>>BigTen, we may not hear the end of it.

Would you like to hold forth on the asymmetries between the two conferences, responsible for the unbalanced results? ;-

MHO: Big Ten needs to recruit good former SEC (non-League-grade) players and nurture them as off/def coordinators. (Having learned last night that both Bo Pelini and Urban Meyer were Buckeyes.)

I like the proposal of renaming the Big 10 the "Big MAC," and sending them down to I-AA where they would be more competitive (though this would mean they would be more likely to play Appalachian State... everything's a trade-off)

Fun article. "glazed over look" is exactly right, at least from the 2nd quarter of last night's game until August.
