Just what is "backstory" on this?

Did someone named Murdock have anything

to do with it??

Kind of looks like that new memorial for the victims of United Airlines Flight 93 (after a rather severe hurricane in Pennsylvania).

Had to check to see if an answer showed up for this one! Why didn't we hear about THIS hurricane Stuart! Good one!

Apologies for the late replies. I'm getting better at managing my time at UNL to devote more to tdaxp. The blogosphere is more informative than lectures or seminars anyway... :)

I do not believe it is a photoshop. It is from a series of nature photos a friend gave me through email (yes, you can always trust chain emails!). However, no lat/long coordinates.

The proposed 9/11 memorial in Pennsylavania (http://ace.mu.nu/archives/117149.php) is unimaginably stupid.

This image is traceable only to a now defunct Pakistani website where it was presented as a sign that Islam was rising. As I have been unable to find ANY reference to this 'natural anomaly', I suspect we have some lovely Photoshop-ping going on here (imho)...perhaps with some Bryce in the background. Neatly done. tho'.

Eric,

Very interesting! How did you trace it? Could you share the details!

I agree that photoshop (and ms paint.net) are fun! :-)
