Yes!

There's a lot of funny stories and quotes... the best one being Dr. Goodman's "I want to congratulate you on your brave step forward into the abyss."

Ha ! My two favorite responses from profs in grad school were

" Cultural practices that limited population among the pre-Columbian Amerindian peoples are among the most hotly contested in the field of history ...and that's all I am going to say about that "

and on my first idea for a paper for the same professor but in his reading seminar:

" Well, that topic would be enough for several books but we need something that can be finished before my retirement " ( He was around 42 at the time )
